Industrial Clerk

Industrial Clerks work in various industrial branches and industrial service sectors. They support all company processes in the various departments from a business-management point of view.

At Schoeller you can expect a practice-oriented and team-oriented apprenticeship in which you will get to know all commercial areas of an international industrial enterprise. We place special emphasis on the communication of sound fundamentals and the broadest possible general knowledge. Our multidisciplinary educational objectives include being able to work independently and in a problem-solving way, being flexible and thinking in context, having the ability to communicate and cooperate, as well as being able to use modern information and communication media effectively. Our apprenticeship package is rounded off with internal training as well as external courses.

Contents of the apprenticeship

In the course of your apprenticeship you will become familiar with important processes and  duties in the following subject areas:

  • Preparation work
  • Accounting and Finances
  • Materials Administration
  • Human Resources Management
  • Sales / Shipping

Vocational school

Classes are held two days a week in the Berufskolleg Eifel (Eifel Career College), Loshardt 2, 53925 Kall.

Duration

The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and ends with a final examination by the IHK Aachen. With applicable preparatory training and good results, this time can be reduced.

Conditions of employment

  • Advanced technical college certificate or higher
  • Good math, German and foreign language skills, MS-Office proficiency
  • High level of motivation and willingness to perform, pleasure in dealing with other people, independent and proactive qualities, communication abilities and team abilities, creativity and flexibility

Start of apprenticeship

The apprenticeship begins September 1, 2012.
