20 Years employee magazine: Celebrating a Tradition That Connects Us

This month, we celebrate a very special milestone: the 20th anniversary of our employee magazine “Rohrpost”. For two decades, it has been more than an internal publication – it has accompanied everyday life at Schoeller and has become an integral part of our company culture.

In an increasingly digital world, we deliberately continue to rely on a printed, analog format. Our Rohrpost stands for closeness, personal exchange and genuine insights into everyday work. Every issue is created with contributions from the teams themselves – insights from production, engineering, logistics, administration and many more. It documents our progress, our challenges and the moments that shape Schoeller.

“For two decades, our employee magazine has been more than a medium – it has been a unifying element within our company. Rohrpost has informed and inspired us and has reflected many personal stories and successes at Schoeller. It has made our values, our vision and our team spirit tangible.” Alexander Mertens, Managing Director

A look back shows the wide range of topics covered over the years: the completion of hall B1 in 2006, new equipment such as the sawing and machining center in 2011 or the Transfluid system in 2014, international trade fair appearances, training programs, the 2017 summer festival, the 2021 flood disaster, the introduction of shopfloor management and many technical innovations. But it also includes personal stories, anniversaries, achievements and the many people who contribute to our success.

And its spirit was already clear when Rohrpost was founded. As former Managing Director Dirk Rumpf wrote in 2005: “We want our employees to always be well informed – the new company magazine promotes communication.”

We are proud of this 20-year tradition and of everyone who contributed – by writing, sharing insights, providing photos, or simply reading along. Here’s to the next chapters of Schoeller Rohrpost – and to the people who keep our story alive.
