Our apprentice Jonas Mager was honored for his outstanding achievements at this year’s Excellence Award Ceremony of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Aachen, held in the historic coronation hall of Aachen City Hall.
Out of a total of 2,285 apprentices in the IHK Aachen district, only 158 graduates completed their final examinations in the summer of 2025 with the grade “very good.” Among them was Jonas Mager, who successfully completed his training as an Industrial Clerk at Schoeller with top marks.
In a festive ceremony, IHK President Gisela Kohl-Vogel presented the certificates to the best graduates from the districts of Euskirchen, Düren, and Heinsberg as well as the Aachen city region. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of commitment, perseverance, and hard work: “With dedication, determination, and passion, these young men and women have truly earned this distinction.”
During his apprenticeship at the Hellenthal site, Jonas gained experience in various departments across the company. His commitment, reliability, and open-minded attitude were particularly appreciated by colleagues and trainers alike.
With this recognition, Jonas Mager ranks among the best apprentices in the entire IHK Aachen region. The award also highlights the strong importance of vocational training at Schoeller – an integral part of our HR strategy that offers young talents diverse opportunities for professional and personal development.
Congratulations, Jonas – and all the best for your future at Schoeller!
