On August 14, 2025, Schoeller hosted its second anniversary celebration of the year at Gasthaus Dederichs in Rohren. The evening honored 13 colleagues for their long-standing service: five celebrating an impressive 40 years with the company, and eight marking 25 years.
The celebration began with a welcoming reception in the evening sun, followed by a speech from Managing Director Alexander Mertens, who praised the commitment, loyalty, and achievements of the honorees. Together with the works council, he presented certificates and tokens of recognition.
Sadly, the evening was also marked by the absence of a colleague who had passed away only a few weeks earlier. A moment of silence allowed everyone to pause and remember him, while keeping his family, friends, and colleagues in our thoughts.
After the official tributes, the evening continued with a festive three-course dinner. Guests enjoyed excellent food, lively conversations, and a warm, appreciative atmosphere – creating space to share memories, reflect, and look ahead together.
We sincerely thank all our honorees for their dedication and loyalty, which have played an important role in the company’s growth and success. The celebration was a heartfelt occasion of gratitude, joy, and appreciation that will be long remembered.
