Schoeller Joins the “Sustainable Business Alliance” of the Euskirchen District

Schoeller is now a member of the “Sustainable Business Alliance” of the Euskirchen district – together with our subsidiary ID Ingenieure & Dienstleistungen GmbH. By joining, we commit to further developing our business model with a clear focus on innovation, digitalization, energy and resource efficiency, and social responsibility.

The kick-off event took place on December 4 at the “Ideenfabrik Nachhaltige Wirtschaft” (translates to Ideas Factory for Sustainable Economy). A total of 34 companies have joined the alliance so far, with several more signing their membership on-site during the event. Schoeller was represented by Marian Jansen, who signed the alliance board together with the other founding members.

The event highlighted the strong regional momentum for shaping a sustainable future – across industries, driven by shared values and a collaborative spirit. Discussions on circular economy, digital transformation, sustainable business practices, and social responsibility demonstrated the strength of joint action.

Membership is valid for two years and will be re-evaluated thereafter. The district’s goal: 100 sustainable companies working together to strengthen the region’s long-term resilience and competitiveness.

We are proud to be part of this important initiative and to actively contribute to a sustainable future in our region.
