Tube 2026: Schoeller in Düsseldorf – Trade Show Presence, Booth Concept, and CEO Panel

Next week is the big event: Starting April 13, Schoeller will be at Tube 2026 in Düsseldorf—in Hall 3 at Booth D47. As one of the leading manufacturers of welded and drawn premium stainless steel tubes on the European market, Tube is the central industry forum for Schoeller: for customer discussions on equal footing, exchanges with market participants, and addressing the developments currently shaping the industry.

Alexander Mertens at Market Insights Day 2026

On the first day of the trade show, CEO Alexander Mertens will participate in the Stainless Steel & Nickel Alloy Tube & Pipe Market Insights Day 2026 – the industry conference on tubes, organized by SMR Events in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf (CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf, Rooms 14–15).

In Session 4 (Welded Tube & Pipe: Market and Technology, 3:15 p.m.), he will present Schoeller’s perspective across three key topics: the development of key end-user markets such as automotive and energy; the specific strengths of drawn tubes in demanding applications; and the trade policy landscape, particularly the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and ongoing safeguard measures, which influence strategic decisions across the entire industry.

Market Insights Day is aimed at professionals who wish to begin the trade show week with a solid strategic context. Participation can be booked separately; for information and registration, visit www.smr-events.com.

The Schoeller Booth: Refined

For Tube 2026, Schoeller is reviving its booth from two years ago, with minor adjustments: Selected steles have been optimized for product presentation, and a true-to-scale 3D model of a laser system allows visitors to physically experience a central part of the manufacturing process for the first time.

New in Düsseldorf is the VR corner: a comfortable swivel chair with VR goggles invites visitors on a guided flight through the Schoeller production facility. Experiencing technical processes rather than just reading about them – in a way no brochure can deliver.

In terms of design, Schoeller returns to its established combination of warm materials – wood on counters, floors, and slatted walls – Schoeller Red, tube elements, and plants. An environment that invites conversation without losing sight of the industrial context.
